In the menu below you will find frequently asked questions and answers on the purchase of login code(s) and the operation of the GPI. If your question is not listed, please contact us.

As a business contact you can add yourself as a candidate. You do not have to register again for this.

Importing candidates is only possible if you are a company (or self-employed person). When logging in select 'Company’. If you click on the 'Add candidate' button, you can choose between adding one or more candidates. To add multiple candidates, you must first download the sample file, fill it in and reupload it. It is possible to add the candidates directly to an existing group.

To make it easier to manage and invite candidates, it is possible to add them to groups. You can create and manage groups via the step-by-step plan or in the company environment (Choose ‘Company’ when you log in or at ‘Profiles’).

Is the e-mail address already in use? This means that the candidate is still linked to his own company, (former) employer or employment agency, for example.

Ask the candidate to log in to his/her GPI account, click on 'My details' and use the orange button to disconnect from the previous employer. Once the candidate has done this, you can easily add and (if necessary) invite him/her. More information about disconnecting can be found here.

Still need help? In a number of cases we can transfer the candidate. We can do this if the candidate does not have an invitation in his/her account, is not listed in the system as a self-employed person and the GPI is not valid for more than 30 days.

Enter the following:
- candidate name;
- candidate's date of birth;
- e-mail address candidate;
- company email address.

With this information we can assess whether the candidate can be transferred.

Select ‘Company’ when logging in. Click on ‘Other’. Choose ‘Invoices’ in the dropdown. This page lists the invoices that have been sent and you also have the option to download them.

This can have several reasons, for example: - The candidate has registered a new account (with a different email address than where the invitation was sent) and logged in to it. If, as a company, you see the status 'invitation sent' for this candidate, the candidate still has to click on the link in the invitation email. After this, the candidate can click on the orange 'Start GPI' button in their GPI account. If you see the status 'invitation accepted' with the candidate, the candidate must log in to our website directly via https://gpi.explainsafe.nl/nl/login. It is important to use the email address that is listed with the person in the Candidate overview. If the candidate has forgotten their password, they can request a password recovery email via https://gpi.explainsafe.nl/nl/password-reset. Once logged in, the candidate will automatically be taken to the 'My overview' page and there can click on the 'Start GPI’ button.

Since GPI 5.0 (from 23-11-2022), the GPI Infra, GPI Installation and GPI B&U are no longer separate GPIs. There is now only one GPI. Depending on the subsector in which the candidate works, he/she follows the practical subjects appropriate to the field within this updated GPI.

Please check if your employee is still listed in the Candidate Overview. Can't find this candidate here? Candidates can disconnect themselves from an employer. Invitations sent but not used are then removed from the candidate and added back to your company balance as a login. When this happens, you will receive an overview of candidates who have disconnected themselves the following night. Should the candidate have been added to your account? Then add the candidate again via the blue 'Add candidate' button. Please note: if the candidate has meanwhile been added by another company, you can no longer add the candidate yourself.

The usual way is for you as a self-employed person to buy a log-in code for yourself and take the GPI. If this applies to you and you do not yet have an account, then you first have to create one. It is important that for ‘Type of user’ you select ‘Company’ and then tick the box ‘I am self-employed or a company contact person who would like to take a GPI myself’. Enter the details requested, create the account and activate it by clicking on the link sent to you in the e-mail.

There are two profiles for self-employed persons, 'Company' and 'Candidate'. As a self-employed person, you can use the ‘Candidate' profile. You only use the ‘Company’ profile when you want to change the company details (such as address or name).

1. Log in. Do you not immediately get to choose between your 'Company' and 'Candidate' profiles? Then first click at the top right on the blue text with your name, and then on 'Profiles'.
2. Choose the 'Candidate' profile.
3. You are now in 'My overview'. Go down the page and click on ‘Order’.
4. Go through the steps and pay for the log-in code.
5. After making the purchase, click on the log-in code on 'My overview'.
6. Click on 'View GPI'.
7. Select ‘Start GPI' and go through the steps; the system automatically uses the log-in code you purchased.
